THE COUNTER RENAISSANCE The Counter Renaissance is a transnational publication by and for African youth. It is dedicated to confronting the current drive for an 'African Renaissance' and its corresponding notions of Globalization, Progress and Rationality. The Counter Renaissance invites African youth: to share their experiences and stories, feelings and ideas; to regenerate Africa's diverse wisdoms, traditions, languages, cultures, histories, and spirits; to discover and re-discover what Africa is today and what it will be in the future. |
