manish, vidhi, and shilpa jain have introduced about 25 different kinds of containers to their half-rooftop. ranging from cement pots and tin cylinders, to large drums, old drawers, wooden crates, rubber tires and cement bags, this hodge-podge holds a range of fruits nd vegetables: okra, squashes, watermelon, cucumber, corn, tomato, spinach, peppers, mustard, green beans, black-eyed peas, as well as lemon tree, guava tree, payapa tree and neem tree saplings. while the plants are still flowering these days, they're looking forward to sharing the fruits with kanku (manish and vidhi's 1 1/2 year old daughter) and jia and bousa (their grandparents).
