We hosted a two-day workshop in Shikshantar on making paper. We (Vishal and Sunny) had seen people make handmade paper in a factory, but we wanted to learn how to make it ourselves. Our friend Tiana from Brazil showed us how by using waste paper. During our TV Turnoff Week workshop, children and their families learned to make paper from used sheets. They experienced the entire process, from tearing, to pounding, to washing, to placing, to hanging dry.
