Opportunities for work came all along the way. Some on the roadside (above) -- assisting an elderly husband-and-wife team of farmers to transfer organic goat manure from the side of the road into a nearby field. Other work came at peoples' homes (below) -- preparing for diwali and the winter season by covering the floor with a mixture of mud and cow dung (lipin), or painting the walls.
